Bishop Moore Catholic High School Curriculum

Bishop Moore Catholic High School employs a college-preparatory curriculum that consists of the state-required courses for graduation.  Courses are taught along with Theological Studies and a wide range of electives.  The curriculum is designed to challenge students to grow academically to their fullest potential.

Course placements are based on the student's past history of achievement, grades, special skills, and teacher recommendations.  In addition to our respected diploma, qualified students may enroll in Moore Academic Scholars Program and earn an Honors Diploma. Special learning needs are met with the M.A.A.P., (Moore Academic Advancement Program), which provides academic support for students experiencing difficulties.

Bishop Moore Catholic High School exceeds the Florida Department of Education graduation requirements.   Please see the curriculum guide for details (links below).

The curriculum is carefully planned and formulated to include courses that encourage success at the post high school level. Students and teachers alike benefit from inter-disciplinary techniques and the integration of technology in the classroom.

Bishop Moore recognizes the importance of fine and performing arts in the lives of its students. Exposure to the arts is offered through sculpting, painting, and drawing at several levels. Advanced art classes as well as speech, debate, and drama courses are available electives in the curriculum.
